Meet Our Staff  

Dr. Paul Freeman is the Senior Pastor of Victory Church in Parker, Texas. He has served this congregation since December, 2000, as Pastor, and for the previous 18 years as Worship Leader and Associate Pastor. He earned his Doctorate of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology and is a professor with this school teaching on Biblical worship. Paul and his wife, Trina, have traveled extensively throughout the world ministering in other countries including the Ukraine, Japan, the Bahamas, Mexico and Canada. He operates apostolically in the area of worship and has a definite anointing to lead people into the presence of God.

 

Bishop Dwayne Lusk has been in the ministry since 1963. In 1975 he and his wife, Janice Lusk, founded The Potter's House church, which later became Victory Church, in Parker, Texas. During the course of their ministry they have traveled nationally and in over 65 nations of the world spreading and teaching the word of God. In the year 2000, Dr. Lusk released the pastorate of Victory Church to Dr. Paul Freeman, allowing him to give oversight to his spiritual sons and churches, both in America and the former Soviet Union.
Dr. Lusk is currently the Director of the Missions Department at Victory Church. In this capacity he oversees the training of pastors and establishment of new churches throughout the old Soviet Union.

Emmett Holder has been attending Victory Church since he came to know Christ 26 years ago. He and his wife Cheryl hold the office of Elder as laid out in Scripture, serving as peacemakers, prayer warriors, teachers and leaders by example. Emmett and Cheryl’s heart is to serve the Pastor and the congregation of Victory Church by being available for whatever is needed. They also serve as Campaign Directors in our Vision for Victory Campaign offering oversight, and have been youth sponsors for 20 years. Emmett and Cheryl are integral as they provide coordination within all departments and ministries of Victory Church by organizing all supplies and teaching necessities and cataloging books and media.

 

Todd and Cindy Davis bring to Victory Church 20 years of experience in Children and Youth Ministries. Working together they have seen many children and youth come to Christ. Their heart for children is evident as they bring a fresh perspective in areas of puppet ministry, dramas and praise and worship. They have made “Victory Kids” an exciting learning experience for children of all ages. As head of Student Ministries, Todd and Cindy are helping to facilitate Victory Church’s vision for the Youth and Children in our community.

 

 

Shawnita Lusk has been a member of Victory Church since 1975. In that time she served in many capacities including Sunday School Teacher, working with Children and Youth Ministries, Clown Ministry and as a member of the Praise and Worship team. In addition, she has traveled nationally and internationally sharing her faith, building churches and working with her parents in the former Soviet Union.
In 2006, Shawnita became Youth Pastor of Victory Church. Citing this as one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of her life, she wishes to build relationships with the youth based on trust and truth and offer insight on how they can become catalysts instead of conformists changing the world around them. Her heart is to see Youth embrace their individuality using their gifts to find their place in the body of Christ, and boldly declare themselves as Christ Followers.

Andrew Chappell has served as the Director of Worship at Victory Church since the fall of 2002. Bridging the gap between generations, it's Andrew's desire to see both young and old experience the presence of the Lord. Andrew also directs the Audio Visual department providing his talents in areas of CD and video production, set design for drama and dance presentations and other visual aides to enhance the Worshiper's experience.
